**About Me**

Hi, I’m Arie Rattan, a 45-year-old tech enthusiast with a diverse background and a passion for learning and growth.

I was born in Israel and moved to Italy at the age of 13 due to my dad’s work. I attended a British school in Milan, where I became fluent in both English and Italian. At 19, I returned to Israel alone to serve in the military, joining the “Orev Givati” unit from 1999 to 2002, and continued in reserve service until 2020.

My transition to high-tech is driven by my journey with PTSD following my military service. Over the past two years, I have transformed my life, deciding to pursue my long-held passion for technology and computers. I am a quick learner with a natural aptitude for tech.

I completed a course in administering Microsoft Azure through a project for IDF veterans with PTSD, offered by Microsoft and Sela University, earning certifications in AZ-900 and SC-900. Currently, I am learning cybersecurity and ethical hacking online, where my knowledge of Python and Linux systems is continually growing. Additionally, I am studying Product Management in the Product Experts course.

My goal is to leverage my project management experience and develop a common language for the high-tech industry. Over the past 20 years, I’ve held various roles, none of which fully tapped into my potential. For the past decade, I worked at Gatos 4x4 Ltd., an auto workshop specializing in customizing and accessorizing cars and SUVs. Starting with no industry knowledge, I quickly rose to the position of Shop Foreman, mastering skills from welding and fabricating to car electricity and 3D modeling. I also took on roles such as Product Manager, Project Manager, Security and Compliance Manager, and Warehouse Manager.

In my roles, I collaborated with a wide range of clients, including government and military entities, private customers, and large organizations like Yes, Intel, and Amdocs. I orchestrated the entire operations side of the business, working closely with contractors and ensuring seamless processes.

Now working in the high-tech industry, I apply my diverse skill set and extensive experience to new challenges. I excel both in team settings and independently, with high discipline and a strong sense of commitment. Over the past year, I have significantly elevated my skills and continue to grow professionally.

I am eager for new opportunities to prove myself and demonstrate my capabilities.
